Welcome to my website, the hub that now contains all of my writing and projects thus far as I work to become a writer in the sports industry. On this website, you will find samples of my work, ranging from published stories as a journalist to my communications work as an intern.
About Me.
​When I had to pick my classes for my first year of high school, I aimed to choose the easiest classes I could. One of those classes happened to be journalism, and I was in for a surprise. Not fully understanding what journalism meant as a whole, the day I first walked into that classroom, my life would be changed forever. Throughout my four years of high school, I quickly discovered my passion was writing and journalism. Fast forward to today, and here we are. Nowadays, I primarily cover sports related to Oakland University for the Oakland Post, the student newspaper, as the sports editor. Additionally, I write press releases, game recaps, game previews, and more for the Oakland University Athletic Department as a communications intern.

Bachelor of Arts- Journalism with minors in Advertising, Communications, and Public Relations.

As I near the end of my education at Oakland University, I have mastered all of the skills a modern journalist would need to succeed in a professional environment. Additionally, I have explored the fields of advertising, communications, and public relations, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of how all sides of the business work.
